Clarksville offers a variety of options when it comes to the cultural arts. Austin Peay State University’s Center for the Creative Arts was established in 1985. The center hosts a variety of musical and dance productions, recitals, concerts, theatrical performances, literary readings and art exhibitions. The Roxy Regional Theater in historic downtown is the oldest professional theater in the area. Clarksville is home to 644-acres of public parks including Heritage Park, one of the state’s top soccer parks.  Dunbar Cave State Park offers hiking, fishing, photography and the opportunity to explore a multitude of caves. Beachaven Vineyards and Winery is a popular destination and offers weekend musical entertainment May through October.

The Cumberland River is popular for water-skiing, jet skiing, fishing and boating while the Cumberland River Walk offers a scenic stroll alongside the river. The Clarksville Marina is a mixed-use facility offering drystack storage, transient and permanent slips, restaurants, shopping, condos, hiking trails, playgrounds, and biking trails. Area golf courses make for a great day out on the links and challenge even the most experienced golfer.
